QUOTEWERKS ALSO CREATES YOUR ACT! LINK TO QUICKBOOKS
QuoteWerks provides the best method for integrating ACT! with QuickBooks, eliminating the need to re-type the contacts bill-to/ship-to details in the quote or invoice. Contact details already in ACT flow into the correct fields and when a quote or invoice is saved, the integration flows back to ACT! as the sales opportunity is automatically created/updated, follow-through activities can be set, the quote or invoice document file is attached to the contact’s the documents tab for quick easy reference later.
After converting the QuoteWerks Quote to an Invoice to present to the customer, the ACT! opportunity will be closed as won. Next, the Export to QuickBooks function can be done on individual or batches of invoices to automatically create internal invoices in accounting. Integration means no retyping the customer or sales details here either as the contact details entered once in ACT now flow from QuoteWerks into QuickBooks. As new products are identified in QuickBooks, the process will present interactive options for taxes and internal account settings. The QuickBooks invoice will now have all the same details as in the QuoteWerks invoice, but the customer will already have their QuoteWerks invoice in their hands, in a matched format to the quote they authorized, being processed for payment.
Uptime also offers enhancements to this process including an add-on that delivers the full product items in the quote to the contacts sales opportunity, allowing reference and reporting in ACT! right down to product details without even opening QuoteWerks.
